Trump should win because he has had to 'fight' to get where he is. Fight against the 'first woman' novelty of corrupt Clinton. Fight against the Media right from the start.
Biden has so far had opponents capitulate for him and had things given to him on a silver platter.
Trump would floor Biden.
Trumps fight has always been with the truth. Because he was a reality TV Star has had a fan base who see it as him fighting injustice but he's just fighting the truth.
It's been his problem from day one.
He fights the truth about his wealth, his appearance, his business record, his playboy status and this is all before he even thought about running for President.
Since then he's had to fight the truth about his election promises not being possible or won't address even if he achieved them the goal he said justifies them, like the Wall, the truth about what his policies will actually do, how many of them he's actually come good on or abandoned, truth about COVID-19 and his handling of it, the truth about HOW MANY LIES HE TELLS the list goes on and on and on.
The problem is, for Trump and his supporters, is that the media while they may have had a certain lean depending on the outlet, they've always reported on the truth the majority of the time.
Quoting Trump verbatim is enough to have them accused of lying, fake news or fighting him making him a victim. That's HIS FAULT, that's him fighting the Truth as he always has. It's not the media's fault.
Take now, he's in trouble because the media played a clip of him saying he asked his guys to slow down the testing to help with the numbers. The media reporting that showing what Trump said, verbatim with full context and they called fake news.
But again he's fighting the truth. Fauci said there have been no official requests and they've not slowed down their testing, the White House have repeatedly said Trump was just kidding and when directly questioned Trump said "I'm not a kidder".
The truth is there somewhere and again this is what he's fighting. Did Trump say what the media reported on, YES.
Did what he say mean he was trying to prevent people getting tested for political reasons which would endanger more American lives, YES.
Did it actually happen, the answer appears to be No if you trust his own White House staff and Fauci.
So it seems like Trump did tell his people, they said they'd get right on it so he would forget about it and move on, then thankfully acted like the adults in the room and did nothing.
Trump's problem is with the truth.
And we're seeing it again now with his claims the election is already rigged.
He can see the writing on the wall and is afraid of the humiliation of losing to Biden, like he was afraid of losing to Clinton when he said the 2016 election was rigged to.
His problem isn't the media, it's the truth. Always has been and if he keeps lying about everything it always will be.
The problem is he's never had to deliver on his promises, he just lies about the outcomes from his Steaks to his University, Airline, Casinos, Vodka and now his Presidency.
