Think about it.

You're a Troll?

I would laugh myself silly if Setanta was made Mod here.
You deserve no less for all the years of Trolling you have committed here due to your bitter hatred of this place.
I'm gobsmacked you were allowed back here considering your position on OzPol.
Why we must put up with you and your Trolls and your pathetic hypocritical crap and denials, etc.

If you do win, I would probably leave of my own accord from a Forum that has once again been over-run by Trolls, wether you agree to BET me or not. Which is pretty certain you've been castrated at the Pound.

Best to speak just for yourself JaSin.

No bet. No renaming. Not with me anyway.

Want C&Cs to go on as it has but with some extra subjects? Vote for me.

In terms of modding this board requires a couple minutes a month, tops. A little bit more time just broadening the range of subjects a little.

I have no intention of changing the name! Yes, I am a dog person not a cat person—both are very popular pets so there is no harm in such a broadening is there?

I repeat: I will not delete a single post. I do not come in with any intention of banning anyone, should not be necessary on this little board!

I would, as Mod - cater to the wishes of Members who contribute to the Forum. If 'they' want a name change - then I would support it.

Perhaps, if I may suggest, once this poll has ended for new moderator, a new poll put up with a vote to either keep the name or change.

Doesn’t hurt to know what everyone thinks, also gets more interest in this sub forum 🤗👍
Ya ‘all know my vote already ☺️

Not high on my list of priorities Lols.

Love to learn a bit about keeping poultry.

Heh! Some people have told me their dog was scared of chickens. Not so Demi! One time, hearing some commotion from the run I went to investigate: Demi was in the run eating something, can’t remember what, I had put there for the birds with clearly the calm and certain intent to have chicken for second course!  Smiley

Terriers are clever persistent little devils!

I thought of it some more,

Cats, Critters, and Canines (CC&C)

Triple “C”

I like chooks. Mum always had chooks but I never did.
I know the neighbours had chooks and didn’t close the door to the chook pen properly one evening. And the fox got in. Sad really 😕

'Critters' already covers canines.

'Critters' covers everything.

There's no need for a name change.

No foxes in Tasmania I believe. Enough empty country—and rabbits*—around for a fox to do OK. Hills not far out of town they could live in with the odd poultry raid.

I would like a mix, 2-3 good layers and some “pencilled” birds, will put up some pictures this evening—be out most of today.

I see metal birdnetting all around my orchard of apple and pear trees and a coop off to the side—roughly 400sqm for the birds to roam.

*I had spread hardwood chips around my fruit trees, peastraw down each row between the trees. All the hardwood mound showed sign of rabbits digging, none of the peastraw did!

Critters covers everything? 🤔 Then why cats in heading?
May as well just call it “Critters” 😁

Yes, 'critters' covers everything - a critter is an animal.

The inclusion of 'cat's in the title tells the reader exactly what sort of animals are being discussed - i.e. pets.

The inclusion of 'cats' also alliterates the title, to make it more memorable.

Exactly Greg.

It also keeps it as Herbert left it, which is nice I think.

Oh... I see... it’s about Herb is it?

I thought it was about what was best for the this board?
To lure more posters in?

I see that one person’s preference of past to highlight “cats” is more paramount?

Me having been in business learnt that flexibility is key to success, and we live in ever changing times that need that flex to adapt.

so you dont care for sentiment lols?...

over time we have had a few name changes here  I dont recall them ever doing much for membership..

however   if its what the majority wants then so be it....

and that goes for both ways...
