As much as I hate politicians and the nevitable corruption that goes with them, I love it when all the cackling class come on here whenever a Labor issue arises then rush back to the henhouse when it is their party.    Andrews is an extremely good, well liked and competent Premier who is doing a great job fixing the mess left behind by the previous corrupt Ballieu/Napthine government and moving the State forward.    He has firmly nipped this in the bud and he will suffer little negativity, why you ask, well because he is a Leader.  Not some frothy liberal taking bribes at the Lobster Cave or running around in the 8 seater mini bus to coalition meetings hoping for a bribe, but a leader.     At the moment, their could be no more competent party in Victoria than the present one.     Soon, similar accusations will rise about the Liberals in Victoria and the cacklers will end up egg faced , yet again!

Bad idea. But at the same time every Australian state has been going backwards on roads for at least 4 decades.

I dont have to distort anything its all there on my TV set.

so stop pretending Dan knew. There was absolutely nothing in the show to indicate he knew.

here we go the usual massive deflection

you are on about somyurek working against andrews...

now its about if andrews knew..

as the top man  he would have known....

I am waiting to see if this somyurek guy has anything on dan the man..... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

why the need to bring him back and put him on the front bench.. not sure if hes been heard of before..yet hes been back twice now thanks to dan the man....

and imo andrews looked terrified as he announced he was sacked...not happy at all..

a Premier cannot pretend he doesnt know    what many others knew about... Angry Angry Angry Angry

You don’t even live here, so how can you even know?   I will give him one thing, his work alone on rail crossing removal, fixing up the roads and generally doing his job without needing a free bottle of grange will see him and his party re-elected easily

You know what always happens when Liberals throw mud don’t you

This would be the initiative fully supported by Federal Government and personally endorsed by Morrison?    I agree with it.    If it keeps employment up, gets the transport system moving, then what is wrong with it.

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has led criticism of the Victorian deal with China, questioning why the Premier believes the decision is in the national interest.

"It's a decision that's been made by Mr Andrews, so he can justify the decision. I haven't heard the rationale or the reasoning behind what seemed to be a pretty rushed decision," Mr Dutton said.

Good reading for you on the ever twisting evilness of the Federal Government and their constant policy changes.    On balance, it is a good initiative, is not binding, and a lot of countries are embracing it https://www.australiachinarelations.org/content/australian-perspectives-belt-and...
