lastnail, listen to the presentation before Trump made the comment and what substances were tested and referred to as disinfectants.

Here's a hint, it wasn't iodine.

It was bleach and isopropyl alcohol.

Trump in that context said these substances should be used to clean the lungs and injected into the body.

He wasn't questioned by reporters, he offered this up freely.

This is the sort of thing he must do every day wasting hours and hours of experts time, the difference is he was learning all of this in real time as he was watching it, it was like a live briefing.

This is the useless and damaging sort of stuff Trump brings to the table. He always thinks he has the answers and is to stupid to know that the people, his handlers and the experts around him are treating him like a make a wish President for a day, then going and doing their actual jobs when he leaves the room.

Trump said he was being sarcastic to reporters.

He offered this information up without being questioned buy them, it wasn't even the time where they could ask questions and he wasn't talking to them but instead asking Bill Bryan who when giving his presentation was not talking to the viewers or those present but over and over again, "Mr President".

It was like a live briefing, Trump was hearing this for the first time and he asked these dumb questions because he thinks he's the smartest person in the room and nobody else thought of it until he did.

How was it sarcasm?

He said,

“No. Of course not...It was said sarcastically. It was put in the form of a question to a group of extraordinary hostile people. Namely, the fake news media.”

Shows his priority...
