That might help too, Nail, but just to clarify, Mr Trump never said you should drink the disinfectant, he was talking about disinfecting the lungs. Like, if we could find a way to inject it into the lungs so it can kill the virus - he's talking about doctors here, he's not saying to do it yourself - if they could find a way to open it up to get the disinfectant in, we might be able to stop or at least slow the virus from spreading.
Add light, I don't know, from UV rays or something, maybe a precision laser device like a gun - they do have them, this is not science fiction - and we've got another tool in our kit to fight this thing. Disinfectant, heat and light, these are all weapons in our armoury, we shouldn't be afraid of them.
It then becomes a question of application. You'd need to open up the lungs - and again, I'm talking about doctors here, no one should be doing this themselves. Surgeons and other qualified medical professionals do it all the time. You'd open up the lungs, wipe them down or inject them with disinfectant, and do the UV thing with the laser gun. Think about it - how could a virus survive that?
Look, maybe it'd work and maybe it wouldn't, we'd need to see what happens, but it's definitely worth looking into, even the coronavirus task force doctor admitted that. We need to do everything we can to get the economy back to normal by October, so we have to try everything. Okay, so the hydrocholoquine trials haven't done so good, but at least they gave it a go. We need to try everything.
The task force now has a new idea they can go off and try. It mightn't work, but the important thing is to give it a go. Hopefully, they can announce something at next week's briefing.
