I do hope the pandemic of toilet tissue is over but other than that I cant think of anything else that was "silly"..

It's a "stupid" fine.

People have been stupid and ruined it for the rest of us, doubting the virus or the response to it, refusing to "cower" at home, and now even if we're doing the right thing and not exposing ourselves to anyone, or even anything by not leaving our cars, we're now all being fined.

So to those stupid people, thank you. I hope you get a fine rather than the rest of us who were doing the right thing.

We dont have that kind of fine nonsense here in SA. we have had only 400 infections and 3 deaths and everything seems under control so the more draconian measures arent needed. There was one case where a party of young people refused four times to break it up nd were eventually fined $1000 each, but thats about it.

An Sad, you are right. It is the morons that is making it worse for everyone else.

NSW has announced most restrictions will stay in place until a vaccine is found. I suspect the other states will follow suit

That's 12 to 18 months away
I don't think most people will tolerate the restrictions for that long

they wont tolerate them for another 6 weeks , far less 18 months
