Conservative hater here. Paid sick leave and paid time off for taking care of children, and full compensation for the economic effects on quarantines, must be immediately provided to all. Trump had failed to implement this.

Since morty torty does not work he has no idea they cannot wait for the ruling classes to implement these policies but must immediately begin to organize workplace and neighborhood committees to ensure safety, sanitation and the humane treatment of the ill and suffering.

The F A T orange puke's lies and obfuscation were an effort to cover up the responsibility of his own adminstration, and the economic interests it serves, for the disastrous spread of the pandemic.

No "tax cut" is going to do anything to the rapid spread of the disease especially when the "conservative" end result of the constant subordination of human need to profit interest shareholder value. This market religion, preached for decades from every pulpit, has led society into a blind alley where you'll find the likes of morty there believing as the F A T orange puke does that xenophobia and ignorance will save them (along with some wine).

I don't know about the rest of Australia but judging by the nonstop flights in and out of Perth Airport every day it doesn't look like there's been any reduction in flights so far.

Unless the planes are flying half empty (or even completely empty except for the pilots so the airlines don't lose the routes as I've mentioned several days back).

We're getting most of the daily flights over our place because they're busy resurfacing the main runway between 8am and 5pm Monday to Saturday till March 26th and they're using the shorter cross runway.

Wonder how much the resurfacing is costing? With the expected downturn in travel perhaps they should have postponed the resurfacing and spent the money on other things - like screening passengers more carefully for coronavirus.

But, being a government "thing" it was probably already contracted to be done some time ago so they have to go ahead with it regardless of the cost and the downturn in air travel (if it ever happens, of course).

Wonder if they're going to postpone the cross runway works at Perth Airport after they've finished the main runway and spend it on better screening of passengers?
