If FGM was a christian thing then cite the verses from the Bible calling for it.
you're either not listening, or an idiot. It's been said all along it's not a religious thing, it's cultural.
You're the idiot who keeps repeating a lie hoping other idiots will believe that lie.
How can it be a Christian thing can you cite the verses from the bible calling for it and cite cases of FGM done to Christian girls in the US, UK or Europe?
Mothras link conveniently left out FGM stats in Saudi Arabia where it originated from.
No recorded cases of FGM in Saudi Arabia before the Islamic conquest when the dominant religions were Jew Christian and Pagan so it's pretty clear to those with more than half a functioning brain where this FGM came from and if you look where Islam spread to it's where the vast majority of FGM cases are.
FGM is an Islamic cultural thing, of course the Islamic apologists will leave out the Islamic part when downplaying and sugar coating FGM.
Does Sheik Munajid come from Saudi Arabia?
Quote:Circumcision of girls
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
Circumcision is not an inherited custom as some people claim, rather it is prescribed in Islam and the scholars are unanimously agreed that it is prescribed. Not a single Muslim scholar – as far as we know – has said that circumcision is not prescribed.
Thus it is clear that the fuqaha’ of Islam are agreed that circumcision is prescribed for both males and females, and in fact the majority of them are of the view that it is obligatory for both. No one said that it is not prescribed or that it is makrooh or haraam.

not an inherited custom to you and you fellow apologists who like to sugar coat Islamic FGM fail to comprehend?
A reasonable person would interpret FGM as not being an inherited custom as an Islamic custom since it is prescribed in Islam.
