Wow.  It's like he's the CEO's idiot son who would not be at the table if not for that, trying to show everyone that he's in charge, trying to sound smart like he knows what's going on and nothing would happen without him, even though everyone at the table is nice to him during the meeting because they have to, answering all the questions he has that if he'd done the reading before the meeting he'd know already, then smiling when he then tries to paraphrase the answers they've just given him in his dumbed-down language as if he already knew, but in this case he's even making errors doing that, the moment they leave they will do everything they can to avoid involving him going forward because he'll waste their time, money and may even lead to negative outcomes.

I love the ending "Oh the DOW is doing well"...

No, just no.

Time and a place you fool, but he did take credit for it.  "Oh they heard about this meeting hence the numbers improved".

Again, No, just No.

I actually felt a bit sorry for him.

So incredibly out of his depth.

Nodding away, while in his mind he's thinking "I have no idea what these words mean.  I hope I sound smart".

When he folds his arms like that, you know that he's very uncomfortable.

He didn't say he thinks flu vaccine works on corona. From about 49:00 he first spoke about the effectiveness of flu vaccines (60%) and about how an eventual vaccine for Corono would be more effective as it's targeted.

Then he said, if you take a flu vaccine, a solid vaccine you don't think it wouldn't have an impact or much of an impact on Corona? The answer was no and he happily nodded.

Asking if a flu vaccine could make Corono less severe is not actually a stupid question.

Trump has been making all the decisions for the last 2 months and he doesn't know this already ? he never asked before ?

Over 100,000 Americans are likely to die and the President not taking it seriously early enough will have impacted the numbers in the wrong way. The US got off to a bad start a slow start and an incompetent start.

Trumps first decision making meeting should have been week1 not two months later, setting up the lead group should have been week 1 not 2 months later.

With a current count of 6 deaths and a detection of under 20 patients you get to see the story. Are the fatalities running at 30% or have they failed to identify about 600 or 800 maybe 2,000 sick people ?

Two months on the they are playing catch up trying to get to square 1.

No don't feel sorry for a President whose incompetent lack of action has killed many of his own citizens.

its coming.

you cant stop it.

so is it better to have everyone remaining calm and not trampling each other at walmart

or should we frighten everyone (like the lefties frighten everyone over the climate), have them all scared and stressed (which raises their cortisol and makes them more likely to get infected).

the virus is going to do what the virus is going to do.
better to not have a president adding another layer of trouble.

i thought the lefties all liked open borders anyway.
why the change of tune

Stress occurs when life events surpass your abilities to cope. It causes your body to produce greater levels of the stress hormone cortisol.

In short spurts, cortisol can boost your immunity by limiting inflammation. But over time, your body can get used to having too much cortisol in your blood. And this opens the door for more inflammation, Dr. Calabrese says.

In addition, stress decreases the body’s lymphocytes — the white blood cells that help fight off infection. The lower your lymphocyte level, the more at risk you are for viruses, including the common cold and cold sores.

High stress levels also can cause depression and anxiety, again leading to higher levels of inflammation. In the long-term, sustained, high levels of inflammation point to an overworked, over-tired immune system that can’t properly protect you.

from the irrefutable Cleveland Clinic.

so stressing over this virus is going to raise the death rate as it demolishes the immune systems of the citizens.

how noble is trump to recognise this and seek to save lives.

All he did was get in the way of the meeting.  For all his complaints of the Dems "hoax" trying to politicise the issue and he does this.  A political stunt if ever there was one.

Yes, he needs to listen to the experts, but he doesn't need to constantly hold the entirety of these meetings in front of the camera where he has to get the validation that he's the smartest person in the room.  This is how you take listening and consulting with experts to using them as set dressing for your campaign video and then ignoring everything they said, especially if they didn't praise or validate Trump enough in the process.

I know you're just trolling Scoot, but no, Trump does not deserve nor has he earnt a Nobel Peace Prize.

Well, his favourite three-course dinner is two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, and a chocolate shake.

And that's straight from the horse's mouth.

So what you're saying is because Trump can't attaint the legendary status through hard work and putting in the hours on all the "boring stuff" that he'll just be a loudmouth show off trying to fool people into thinking he's the man?

Yeah, I'd agree.
