You can call the action Gertos took historic if you wish...

No Gnads.
No, the historic right was for the original owner of the house.

The Aboriginal people need self determination and that starts with removing the hindrance of negativity towards them.

Bullshite.
Are they so precious that they do not have the intestinal fortitude to stand up for themselves.?

The blacks in the USA didn't need "special" treatment.
They fought and fought hard for their rights
And they are still fighting.

Our LAZY abbos expect us to just give them everything.
No effort by them,
No work
Just expect everything and being treated with kid gloves.

If they want self determination
They should work for it
The abbo nation is a complete and utter joke
What nation?
They can't even get more than 10 together unless there is free beer.

One Law for All ... Or No Law At All!

I suppose you missed that....

Pray tell us, Comrade Curevo - what is this 'self-determination' of which you speak?  Nobody's stopping Aborigines from electing their Tribal Elders..... or any other members to any positions they like within their group.... what this may not translate to is any form of absolute government.... if you permit one group to operate outside the Law, then you have abandoned Law entirely for random decision-making by anyone or group.

Going to answer this time?

Jeez, son - even a bridge club gets to elect its head, or a football club.... doesn't mean that head suddenly assumes all political power ....

In this case, the High court has over-stepped the boundaries in taking away from the elected government and apparatus the right to say what constitutes a citizen, and has done so in a directly discriminatory way, by excluding all others from their single variation.

This cannot stand - it needs to be set straight and these persons deported as the non-citizens they are.  A Catholic does not get to remain here when under deportation order because he/she belongs to a specified group... nor does a Musso or anyone else, and there is nothing in being an Aboriginal that makes you different under Law from anyone else.
