Since 1972, 13 wells have been successfully drilled in the Bight, with the most recent drilled in 2006.

A good article with some cool pics when I clicked on the red text. Just because they have drilled before doesn't mean the Norwegians should pillage the bight risking untold damage now, they don't have a good record either.
