Yes - it's always been a nation of extremes - drought and flood.. hot and cold. This is no worse than the twelve years of drought we put up with down south on the property - now I'm working on getting relief supplies down that way - many people I know are in the path of fires, and I can't get down there to help.

Come on, Hughie - some cash and some rain.... and I'll head off to sort out supplies as they come in etc, sleep in the car... but can't leave the caree... buggar.. she can't sleep in a car, either.

I always give money not much but what I can afford....but I do have a lot of blankets and stuff thats never used....I tried a while ago to get the Salvos to pick up some things....and they said they dont pick up anymore....I cant do the lifting like I used too...I will find a way though dont worry yourself.

There's no need to get butt hurt cods. Doing and praying are on opposite ends of the circle of getting things done and they meet in the same place. Praying is doing nothing. Doing nothing is as good as praying. Neither has the moral advantage. They are both meaningless to solving problems.

When people say they are praying for something, all they are doing is comforting themselves, making themselves feel better for not doing anything.. It's an empty gesture.

This issnt the first time i have seen cods try to exclude ppl from conversations based on their belief or lack of belief. The default position is in the conversation on a message board. You dont have to be invited to a thread based on your religion.
