Then you were posting about the uptake getting larger and even highlighted a piece over 1year 7 months as 270% which of course tells you nothing about 1 year.

As I said then if you reduced that figure by 60% it would still show sequestration of about 88MT for 2010. But the 60% was for 2011 and yet you can't get past 2010 being a year of sequestration as well.

A number of first world and developed countries have national parks where trees have been planted and replanted to expand the forests to the point where they were before European exploration. Australia has shown itself to have replanted trees to such a healthy level of flora spread.

If I get things my own way, we would have the interior of the country (around townships) as having large woodlands full of halophyte trees to soak up the saline land and provide some extra shade.
