Christianity Today: REMOVE TRUMP
Dec 21st, 2019 at 1:48am

Some Evangelicals are having second thoughts about supporting an indecent man. I think Trump is the best representative of the true, inner and hidden values of White Christian America the country has ever had.

Evangelical magazine Christianity Today calls for Trump's removal after impeachment

Publication founded by televangelist Billy Graham splits with Trump’s base, calling president’s actions ‘immoral’

What is funny is how the GOP and the rest of the Trumptards are calling CT a 'far-left' publication.  it is a very conservative right-wing magazine and always has been. If you read the entire editorial - and I have - you can see how the author is begrudgingly admitting that Trump is a conman and a grossly immoral character. It has taken him 3 years to say this and still criticised the Democrats in the process, but somewhere in his soul, he chose to stand up for the Biblical definitions of good leadership and moral behaviour and declare that TRump was not just unfit but GROSSLY unfit and immoral. And that word - grossly - is what makes it all different. Everyone is a sinner and most are immoral in some way, but he accuses Trump of being GROSSLY so.

Foxnews of course had a meltdown and even Franklin Graham criticised it, but the fact is that now it is out. Now someone in a prime position has had the belated courage to say that the Emperor has no clothes.

Christianity Today does not have a mega audience and is not as influential as it once was in Billy Graham's day The publication reflects theological conservatism, verbal restraint, and mature reportage. Hence, it is of no interest to Trump's evangelical FOX News base.

Trump calls it "far left" which is not only ludicrous but provides one in a long string of examples as to his and his followers' incapacity to reason or converse with any degree of realism.

Christianity in a way has lost it's way

What is the basic message we can take from the life of Jesus Christ
The story of Jesus is of a man who came to shake up the establishment
He preached the good news
That news is that you must pick up your cross and bear it responsibily with nobility

Jesus was betrayed by all his friends
He was hauled before the establishment
A mock trial followed

Jesus did not bend or break
He picked up his cross and continued to carry it up the hill
In the spirit of a noble man who would not let the establishment break him.

The Donald burst onto the stage as some sort of Messiah like figure
Scorned by the establishment
But making a deep connection with the common man
Hauled before the Pharisees
Treated by the fake news of the sanhedrin and of Rome
But still marching on to glory

Trump is a religious figure
That's what the left just don't get about trump
Will the followers of any religion
Take Islam as an example
Give up their beliefs because illogical statements are contained in the sacredtexts
No

The fine people of real America we're let down by the Christian church and now they are devotees' of the religion of Donald
I feel it when the left attack Donald
And his supporters
They are guilty of religious vilification
And they should be tried for hate crimes

Christianity lost its way when Emperor Constantine used it as an excuse to take up the sword.

He didn't have to pay off Mary Magdalene to keep her quiet either.

I pray, let the spirit, of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, guide the counselors of President Trump.

But in any case, President Donald J. Trump is President of the U.S.A., because it suits God's purposes that he is.

Proverbs 8:14
Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
15  By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
16  By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
17  I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
