THE apocalypse is going to begin at the end of 2019 as a alignment of stars at the end of the year will mark the beginning of the end, according to one Christian conspiracy theorist.

Author David Montaigne insists we were wrong about the Mayan’s prediction of an apocalypse in 2012, and said the date just acted as a start point of seven years of tribulation – as spoken about in the Bible. Mr Montaigne says the end of the world will actually beginning on December 21 this year – exactly seven years after the Maya calendar predicted the end of the world.

After the seven years ends, there will be a pole switch which will see in heaven on Earth and the apocalypse.

He describes the timeline of events on his website End Times and 2019: “December 21, 2019 - When the Seven Years end and the week of the Heavenly Wedding begins.

“December 26, 2019 - When the bride receives the ring from the Bridegroom.

“December 28, 2019 - The wedding ends on Judgment Day - with a POLE SHIFT that will create a new heavens and a new earth.”

Mr Montaigne explains: “The basic premise of End Times and 2019 is that many ancient sources (especially the Bible) gave us detailed warnings about the end of the world in their books, myths, and monuments.

“Their clearest clues are astronomical - they describe how the night sky looked in their visions of the end of the world.

“With modern astronomical software we can search future dates for a match - when the descriptions of the positions of heavenly bodies in sky will actually occur.

“Clues from the Egyptians, the Maya, and especially Bible prophets - all lead us to December 2019, when the clearest and most amazing signs of all occur - the movements of the sun, moon, planets, and stars act out all the major steps of an ancient Jewish wedding ceremony between Christ and His bride - us.”

However, it may be worth taking Mr Montaigne’s prediction with a pinch of salt as his other predictions include the anti-christ would come to Earth on June 6, 2016 and that Barack Obama was in fact Lucifer.

Apocalypses are so 'over-rated'.
Even the Jews survived theirs.
Even the Rapa-Nui survived theirs from just a population of 100 (not of their own doing, as previously believed).

This year's New Years will definitely be a low-key event,
because 2020 will 'hopefully' erupt in war and we can finally get it over and done with and move on... to the next apocalypse 20 years later.

So I told Dad the old ones had to go. Had to.  We the young were entitled to live a bit of life before we crushed each other to death and ran out of air

Dad asked what I meant.  I said his lot had to go to make way for we young ones.  We had to kill the old.  Humanely of course

He was hammering something or other, didn't look up but asked at what age should humans be culled as result of their rampant overpopulating

I suggested age 45.  At 45, they'd had the best life had to offer.  After 45, it was effectively all over for them anyway as they wasted away into old age

He laughed his head off and kept hammering. Told me to let him know how I felt about being killed off when I reached 45

He wasn't being cooperative.  I walked away disgusted

The predicted End through overpopulation was due to occur, according to the newspaper article, in 1975

no one's even proved the material reality exists other than our perception of it

what made an impact on me was when I read that if the Golden Gate Bridge was reduced solely to its atoms, it would fit inside a match box.  Puts things in perspective.  Imagine what a human body would amount to, if reduced to its atoms
