An important condition for stability in any 'democracy'...
....is 'losers consent' - accepting the will of the majority.
And, we are 'losing it' !!
Dictionary;
democracy = = a form of government in which the people have a voice in the exercise of power, typically through elected representatives. a state governed in such a way. control of a group by the majority of its members.In reality, 'democracy' = = mob rule. !!!!!
PROPOSITION;
In a dangerous world, we had better hope, that the majority of the MEMBERS OF OUR SOCIETY,
are sensible and peaceable people !
A BIT OF HISTORY;'Western nations' [for a few centuries] have embraced the idea, of the use of a 'democratic system' to establish governance of society.
In effect, the majority of the people gained the right of sovereignty, over their own affairs, displacing the singular authority of individual sovereigns [kings, queens, emperors, and 'supreme leaders'.]
But, since the 'oughties' [the 2000's on...], we are discovering a new threat to the traditional political stability of a 'democratic system' to establish governance of society, established within many 'Western nations'.
A 'democracy system' only remains a stable form of establishing the governance of society,
if the losers [then] consent to the will of the majority.
And increasingly, the losers ARE NOT consenting - to governance according to the will of the majority !!QUESTION;Why have we seen this fundamental change [where losers ARE NOT consenting - to governance according to the will of the majority], within 'Western nations' ?
HERE'S AN IDEA.....Uncritical mass migration, from nations [e.g. Somalia, Sudan, the M.E. etc] whose peoples have traditionally rejected [peaceful] group rule, unless it is the rule of
THEIR GROUP [i.e. their tribe or sect], could cause such a change in the 'zeitgeist' of a nation !!
No ???
You do not think that is the principle cause ?

Isn't that correct ?
IMO, Australia does not exist anymore.Yes, something which is referred to as 'Australia' exists.
But it is not Australia anymore. .

I would venture to suggest, that every nation aspires to achieve a political 'environment', which will [within its own borders] facilitate political stability, peace, and prosperity for its citizens.
Few come close.
aspire = = direct one’s hopes or ambitions towards achieving something.
Any nation which has achieved a modicum of political stability, peace, and prosperity,
which then, chooses [in a dangerous world, full of LAWLESS individuals] to [in effect] open its borders, will soon;
1/ lose its current national identity,
and,
2/ lose the political stability and the peace which facilitates its national prosperity.
.
Nations like Australia, and the U.S.A. are, imo, morphing into sh it hole nations.
PROPOSITION;
It is the character of the people of any nation, which defines the character [and quality, and the reputation] of that nation.
Logically, sh it hole nations, are so, because of the particular character and cultural mores, of the people who inhabit those sh it hole nations.
And the same principle applies, with the particular character and cultural mores, of the people who inhabit nations where there is political stability, peace, and prosperity.
Again, ....it is the character of the people of a nation, which defines the character [and quality, and the reputation] of a nation.
Recognising and valuing [i.e. appreciating] that difference [between different things and different people], is called 'discrimination'.
Dictionary;
discrimination = =
1 the action of discriminating against people.
2 recognition and understanding of the difference between one thing and another. good judgement or taste.
Dictionary;
discriminating = = having or showing good taste or judgement.

"We are all the same. And there is no difference between us.", is the mantra that the humanists keep repeating.
But don't believe it!
Because it is our personal value systems [that have formed within us, from childhood until adulthood], which define who we are, as individuals.
And it is the - individual - which helps to define [the nature and the character of] his immediate 'environment' [i.e. the nature and the character of his community], and it is the collection of [those] communities [within a nation] that define the nature and character of a nation.
