On Sunday, President Donald Trump showered Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik with praises for her stellar performance during the impeachment hearings.

Fox News reports: "Stefanik took some public swipes at Schiff mocking him at Friday's impeachment hearing by reading old tweets from when the House Intelligence Committee chairman vowed to have the Ukraine whistleblower testify before his panel. The two also clashed over House procedures."
Rep. Adam Schiff clearly seems threatened by Stefanik. On Friday during the second round of impeachment hearings, Schiff refused to let Stefanik question former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.
“The gentlewoman will suspend,” Schiff said to Rep. Devin Nunes as he attempted to give Stefanik time to speak.
“What is the interruption for this time? It is our time,” Stefanik shot back.
Schiff tried saying that the House only allowed Nunes or Counsel Steve Castor to question the witness.
“We control the time, its been customary of this committee that whoever controls the time can yield to whoever they wish. If we have members of Congress that have a few questions, it seems appropriate that we be able to let Ms. Stefanik ask her question,” Nunes fired back.
The Daily Caller reports: "Nunes eventually relented and recognized Castor. Stefanik and Schiff have clashed in each of the first two public impeachment hearings. Stefanik has criticized Schiff for preventing witnesses from answering questions from committee Republicans in both open and closed-door hearings."
Later on during the hearing, Stefanik finally got her chance to speak and she did not disappoint. The Republican Rep. went nuclear when she targeted Hunter Biden and Burisma as she was able to get the Democrat's witness to admit that the the Obama administration was aware of Hunter Biden's corruption in Ukraine yet did nothing.
"It wasn't just generally about Burisma and corruption, it was specifically about Hunter Biden and Burisma. Is that correct?" Stefanik asked former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch while referring to Obama Administration state department officials who raised red flags relating to Hunter Biden and Burisma.
Yovanovitch replied, "Yes, it is."
"And the exact quote from your testimony, ambassador, is "the way the question was phrased in this Q and A was what can you tell us about Hunter Biden's being named to the board of Burisma,"" Stafanik continued.
She then spoke out on the Obama Administration as well as House Democrats: "For the millions of Americans watching, President Obama's own state department was so concerned about potential conflicts of interests from Hunter Biden's role at Burisma that they raised it themselves while prepping this wonderful ambassador nominee before her confirmation. And yet our Democratic colleagues and the chairman of this committee cry foul when we dare ask that same question that the Obama state department was so concerned about but we will continue asking it."
She then pivoted and asked one more revealing question: "And lastly in my 20 seconds left, I just want to get it on record. In terms of defensive lethal aid which you were an advocate for, that was not provided for by President Obama, it was provided by President Trump?"
"That is correct," Yovanovitch replied.
