Every time there's a hot day the media mentions
that it's caused by global warming but
they seldom mention any of the statistics that I have found in Australia.

I go to weatherzone to get my info which mostly
comes from http://www.bom.gov.au/
the Bureau of Meteorology.

The question has to be asked -
why doesn't the media go to that official site as well?
What is there agenda?

It's time that the media took a more balanced view -
it shouldn't be up to me to do it.

Producing a link to a report on a scientific study about climate change and comparing it to a weather report is hardly supporting your position point view argument I don't know what you never seem to have any of those.

If you were to look into the period of the heat wave you would find weather reports for each day as well. (The dreaded like for like comparison)

You are comparing apples to cucumbers again.

Besides that the original global warming expectation was to see more extreme weather conditions, both situations could apply.
