What sort of problem and the brand of product ? Was it it a no-name special or a reputable solar panel and PV inverter with 25 years warranty ? Or was it the fly-by-night company gone out of business and not able to honor the warranty.

But you said you haven't heard of "too many". Is 30% too many?

So I was right you don't have anything to offer the motoring public that betters EV's in terms of running costs and reliablility. And you don't have anything that allows the average punter to generate a single drop of petrol at home !

I thought as much.

Poor petal. You were talking about solar panels and home batteries for storage. Why are you trying to change your argument. Wink

Since this thread is about the alleged EV emissions, I was talking about solar PV and battery storage used to charge up an EV for free whilst you are more concerned with the one percentile total failure rates that make up the end of the bell curve in the mean time before failure modes. You really are a true deadbeat LNP supporter that resists change at every step of the way even when the consumer benefits. There is no help for people like you and sockhead Sad

Just as well the rest of the world does not take your comments seriously and Warren Buffet has sunk over 8 billion into BYD whilst certainly not taking advice from the likes of LNP moreons in Australia !

Isn't Warren Buffet the bloke who has invested heavily into renewables. But only on the basis of the subsidies he gains? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Ah yes.

“On wind energy, we get a tax credit if we build a lot of wind farms. That’s the only reason to build them. They don’t make sense without the tax credit.”

From a practical perspective it is a lifetime Wink

Since so many people already have PV installed and getting measly feedins, chargeups of an EV at home is a free gift which you will never see from your oily mates Wink

Now you tell us what you have to offer ? Cheesy LOL

The chronically disturbed Greeny scunge is standing in a great pool of her own smelly ignorance. What a polluting fool.

Electric toy cars are pure evil causing massive pollution and exploiting child labour to manufacture their dangerous lithium fire bomb batteries.

The sooner this blight on civilization is put into the junk yards by the vastly superior HYDROGEN ENERGY REVOLUTION the better.

So is that panel lifetime, battery lifetime or human lifetime?

You still  haven't told us. Wink
