Only one sick, twisted and primitive CULT does this shite.
But the cowardly males of this CULT SHOUKD do it to themselves as well.
I'm all for removal of all genitalia of every male muzzo at birth.
That might just fix most of the world's problems.
I believe the practice was originally a tribal not religious thing but has been fervently taken up as a religious thing by many fundamentalist Muslim groups.....
It's patriarchal driven practice to try & take away sexual pleasure for women in the belief that it will keep young women chaste & prevent wives from committing adultery etc.
It also has the likelihood of causing crippling health injuries during child birth such as anal & vaginal Fistulas the affects of which sees women ostracized/shunned in their communities in many many countries.
The increasing number of fundamentalist Muslims in Indonesia are now performing this barbary on their own girl children in an effort to prove that they are as Islamic as their African & Arab brothers/sisters.
Quote:Indonesian study
A survey focused on Indonesian girls and women, conducted by the Center for Population and Policy Studies in 2017, found 87.3% of 4,250 households in 10 provinces obtained female circumcision information from their parents. Of those surveyed, 92.7% said they believed the practice was primarily religious and 84.1% said the practice is also traditional. An overwhelming majority of respondents, 97.8%, approved of female circumcision, saying the tradition should be practiced.

Quote:An estimated 200 million girls and women around the world are currently thought to be suffering the consequences of FGC. Although the bulk of attention, research, and programmes has mainly centred on countries in Africa and on African diaspora communities, the occurrence of FGC in other parts of the world has for too long been ignored by the international community – which often dismisses FGC as an ‘African phenomenon.’
Further research, however, will underline that FGC is not limited to Africa. Rather, it is a global issue with girls and women in communities within Indonesia, Malaysia, Iraq, Oman and other parts of the Middle East also being subject to FGC. The mixture of drivers that perpetuate this practice through generations include tradition, culture, religion, and social pressure.
It should not be happening in Australia & Australian citizens & migrants should not be travelling overseas to get it done.
