A moderator doesn't need to be the lead contributor. In fact, if you're interested in a fair and balanced touch to moderation, it's better that they're not invested heavily in the topics to begin with.

I just hope, whoever of us gets the tap on the shoulder, this place won't change much, there will just be someone here to rein things in if it gets a little too rowdy.

We don't know that for sure.

What we do know is that the thread reporting his actions vanished preceding his lengthy disappearance. A disappearance claimed to be due to him driving trucks, an explanation we got from one of those posters mentioned that are suspiciously like him, with similar login and activity time, claiming to have got a personal email from Light just checking in.

I guess the Internet connection he was on blocked the forum but still allowed emails and instant messaging, it wasn't that his main account was banned. No, surely not.

Now, none of that is "proof", but it's all very suspect.

If I were Light, god forbid, that would be MORE THAN ENOUGH evidence to claim whatever point I was trying to make, but alas, I'm not going to bullshit and pretend that it is.

I personally don't want to go down that path again with Light and his accusations. It's been done to death, he's been caught red-handed and seemingly paid the consequences for it. Sure he still disputes it demanding a quote of him directly accusing other of being a pedophile in very specific language and without that it didn't happen, but the real world is not that black and white.

To cover up that embarrassing dereliction of duty to the people, the government themselves planted the seeds to all these conspiracies to get people away from talking about what they did and focusing on it being an inside job, or it was a missile that hit the pentagon or blah blah.

That means those who think it was an inside job immediately attack me as being a paid shill and I might as well, in their eyes, have said there was no conspiracy and they were crazy.

This forum is more about attacking the 10% of differing views than celebrating the 90% that are alike, and it gets very personal very fast.

What about Aliens? While I haven't seen anything that can only be explained by "Aliens did it", I find it equally as hard to believe that our tiny tiny tiny corner of the universe is the only place that has accidentally created life or we're even the first type of life to reach "intelligence".

The universe is vast and the more we learn the more we realise we don't know.

We're made up of the most abundant elements in the universe, surely life must exist elsewhere. The search for that life is exciting.

Even the conspiracy theories about governments hiding our first contact, Men In Black style are fun.

But making blanket statement that "this video shows proof that these crop circles were made by aliens", come on... That's not "proof", it's a grainy suspect youtube video with the comments disabled intimating facts by asking questions in the title hoping the viewer will answer with "Yes!".

"IS THIS THE LATEST PROOF OF ALIENS ON EARTH!?"

That said, the place for all of that whether you agree with the conclusion of it or the answers to the question is the Fringe. Not spread around all over the forum at large. But there is no reason all of this can't also be grounded in reality.
