If all of that is true, Trump and the tards should be welcoming Mueller confirming that if he gives evidence rather than trying to stop him fronting the hearings.

If the report was a brilliant and total exoneration then why is Trump so scared to have Mueller show up, on the record, and answer questions?

As your signature says, In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

With someone like Trump in the Oval, we should be welcoming someone like Mueller being able to tell the truth, under oath and on record.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Personally, I have no problems with Mueller showing up in Congress next Wednesday (DC time), but there is going to be very little he will be able to discuss in depth.....& legally he won't be able to discuss grand jury testimony, nor will he be able to discuss anything already slated for prosecution, potential future witnesses....etc.....etc.

If Mueller honors the his legal obligations, which in his professional legal career, AFAIK he always has, he will probably refer to the written report quite often.....the version Barr has provided to Congress, not his original unredacted version.....to answer direct questions, so to protect himself from accidentally disclosing confidential information, not as he determines for himself, but what the Attorney General has determined, etc....

Mueller will probably sound a bit more evasive than Congress is probably expecting/hoping for because he knows the law in great detail.....more-so than Congress will adhere to.

At anytime though, the Attorney General could step in, & put a halt to Mueller's testimony if he feels Mueller is being set up for a legal trap, or he believes Mueller is about to discuss confidential information whether inadvertently, or willingly.......

Congress doesn't get to decide. They can vehemently object to the high heavens, but in the end it would be all up to the Attorney General how far he will let Mueller go. Wink

The Special Counsel was hired by the DOJ to investigate Collusion and if there was Collusion what the President did to Obstruct the investigation of Collusion

The Special Counsel finish his job as soon as he sent through the report ie he's no longer working for the DOJ. Then Mueller decides if he wants to testify.

IF he was still working for the DOJ then it's up to Barr (as head of the DOJ) to decide if Mueller should testify.
