Of course the Hydro is good. But there are limitations on Hydro in Australia. And that is before the greenies get involved and want to stop any damming, because it will drown the land.
Why did they use that when it is not even a mean pricing point?
As an example the SA battery. Cost $90 million for 100MW/h. And that isn't even the total cost.
There is an ongoing cost of $4-5 million/year. And still more costs on top of that.
