No petal. The output will only be true if all the assumptions (parameters) are true. Unless you get the assumptions so wrong that you get the right answer but for the wrong reason.

And there are likely a multitude of assumptions in the model.

Seeing as insects tend not to have a skeleton, perhaps you can tell us how many species of insect have gone extinct? And that is only one such assumption.
