COLONIALISM of Australia is a load of crap and fails to represent a 'true' representation of 'Australians'.

I once learned by 'School' that Blaxland, Wentworth & Lawson 'pathfinded' the way across the Great Dividing Range and how 'Gloriously of Colonialism'. 
It was bullcrap! The Dharruk and other Sydney Tribes had many pathways, worn from thousands of years of use and covered in as much of the most reddest of dirts to  artistically represent the bloodlines (arteries, veins) of their World's (Australia) 'body'. They made this Land their 'Canvas' to show 'beauty' back into the heavens above.
Blaxland, Wentworth & Lawson just followed one of these and eventually made their way across. They were too arrogant to even ask the Dharruk which was the quickest/easiest way across the Mountains, let alone - be taken across directly. They 'fumbled' their way across.

So with this, comes my 2nd awakening. WALTZING MATHILDA was a load of hogwash! 
What man would drown himself over a bloody sheep?! 
The real story behind it was a Man who lost both his wife and child, went into the Billabong to drown his sorrows.
He was not chased by Troopers or on some Squatter's Land, etc. That was a plagerism on a historical truth and exploited it with something that comes from bloody Scotland! 

So they turn an innocent man who drowned from the pain of his loss in a billabong to something of a 'crime' by Colonialists with Troopers, Squatter owning the land and a sheep.

Don't talk shyte Jason.... when I attended primary school in the 60's we were taught then that Aboriginals showed Blaxland, Lawson & Wentworth how to get over the Blue Mountains.

Probably by some Troopers and a Squatter who raped her, then killed both her and the child.
