Eco fascists and terrorists invade Victoria.

Eco fascists. Hmmm. Where did we hear that recently? Oh yes, the Christchurch shooter called himself that.

It's a slippery slope, kids. Back to the classroom and the dole queue with you.

Beat me to it, Gordon....

Vegan Violence on the upsurge!!  But blocking a street isn't violence is it?

Now if a Union did that.............to block access to a disputed work site.... what about if White Australia did it?  Bloody supremacists and commies all.... send in the Cossacks...

Could you imagine if these types got some actual power and had control of security forces?

It would be like Pol Pot

Not defending the vegans, but seriously that analogy is just STOOPID

I don't think so. Militant angry vegans are batschit crazy and I reckon if they had the means to physically impose their beliefs on others, they would not hesitate.

WHAT?  Respect others in the middle of an emotion-driven jihad?  Where you bin, Laden, for the past forty or fifty years.... it's all confrontation and harnessing the underlying anger at society as we know it for a small and purposeless purpose - such as changing Australia Day to suit a rabid group of screeching nobodies who are supposed to be participating.

If only these people would draw back and take a long hard, reasoned look at what has become of this nation - and what exactly is causing their angst.... then they might do some good.

Now - mothra... john-boy... the rest of you - when are you handing all your property over to the Indigenous owners, and taking in a horde of IS orphans caused by their stupid parents?

I'll take two kids - wait until I'm settled in the new home.... then watch the fireworks from our 'government' over adopting kids from Offshore...  anyway - I'm sure they'll enjoy a better life and a better chance at life than 'over there' in the Dark Lands, even with an old 'xenophobe'...  Undecided

I dont recall them chaining themselves to cars and lamp posts when the govt of day tried to ban GREYHOUND RACING.....when it was discovered they used live animals to train the dogs...

those animals  were more than badly treated they were tortured...come on vegans  where were you then?..

I think you will find that political vegans tend to be very outspoken and active about greyhound and horse racing.

And any other human activity that exploits animals.

Here's where it gets wobbly tho.

In NSW Mike Baird shot from the hip and announced a greyhound racing ban but really botched the politics of it. Good intention, badly executed.

Luke (touchy hands) Foley played the politics perfectly and wedged him on it as greyhound folks are predominately Labor peeps.

The lefty animal rights folks went a little too quiet over that, I think they let is slide because a win for the politics was more important than a win for the poor old doggies.

So why Mothra, didn't the Greens and the animal rights groups go after Luke Foley with all guns blazing?

Foley was previously the shadow racing minister, obviously a vested interest. He probably had his hand on some cash or something. We know he has wandering hands!

And luckily for Gordy, that's good enough for him.

At the time, the politics of it was very clear.

Mike Baird wanted to ban it because it's the right thing to do and mostly, doesn't effect Lib voters.

Luke Foley blocked it for the sake of politics, and he played the politics well.

The Greens supported the ban when it was announced bit only let out a few peeps when Foley wedged Libs on it.

Hang on a sec Mothra, I supported the ban on greyhounds, it's a grubby sport.

I was critical of Baird for not sticking to his guns and seeing the ban through.

Before that I had next to no opinion of Foley but despised him for opposing the ban (and my spidy senses turned out to be right on him).

I was critical of the Greens for not going in all guns blazing against Foley at the time.

What exactly are we in disagreement about on this particular issue?

Greyhound Racing is for Grubs.
Considered a sport for the Rich in Britain
(North Englanders used Whippets because they were working class and poorer).
Here, its the Houso sport of betting.

Yep, the Greens turned their backs on the Dogs for the ALP's Politics.  Roll Eyes
