I dunno. It sounds like socialism to me. Redistribution of wealth. Putting money in the pockets of a certain section of the community.
I belong to a private golf club. I might ring my local member and see if I can get in on the act. Maybe the golf lessons?

Makes you wonder how 'American' we can get these days, no?
With Capitosonora heckling us Australians for being 'British' because we still have the Union Jack (represents 'Politics' on our Flag) on our Flag and how bad and inferior it is to have it there (so, we should have a War of Independence with them ?

).
But if being Politically 'supervised' by the British (system) is so bad like being in the Frying Pan, then becoming like the USA (President as a Head of State and all that rubbish

) would be like jumping into the Fire.
Take a look at Uluru, then take a look at the Southern Cross and then watch the movie Excalibur and even read ever 'mythology' around the world and you will soon see how Australia's future (even beyond Politics) will be.
Americans like Capitosonora often call us 'British' - because they know it makes people (like Hammer recently) insecure of their cultural identity and eventually start doing the 'australian crawl' to the USA.
I can't help it if the USA jilted the British and ran their own show which ended up being run by 'others' (...Media?

) that lead their country up the creek without a paddle into a future that could end up being a 'Dead End' for us all.
Australia's future of empowerment (culturally) isn't even Political, so I don't know why Yanks like Capitosonora (and others) think we need a democratically elected head of state. Australia's future (because the world needs it) is ART.
Politics here is the domain for the poor Family Man/Woman and the proper raising of kids... which is currently lacking and shows in the Educational System for starters.
Govenor-General serves the UK.
Prime Ministers serve the USA.
The UK serves the USA anyway...
