"Treasurer Josh Frydenberg is being targeted by a new campaign to drive him from Parliament in a powerful bid by the Greens, who are running veteran barrister Julian Burnside as their candidate for Kooyong at the May election.

Mr Burnside will announce his campaign on Tuesday in a move that throws open the contest for the prize Liberal electorate, escalating the threat to Mr Frydenberg in a seat the Morrison government cannot afford to lose."

"He tweeted this week that he expected Prime Minister Scott Morrison to send a "whisper" to the Royal Australian Navy to let some asylum seeker boats through before the election to "terrify the nation".

Surely Morrison wouldn't stoop THAT low, or would he?

the greens are an interesting lot.

i have always thought that people go down 3 "STREAMS".

if you are smart and focused after leaving school, you probably go the business route.

if you are a bit of a dumbie, you probably go join a union and get a job where you dont have to think.

so thats liberals and labor sorted.

but what if you are smart but you cant focus. you are too emotional, you get panic attacks, you dither and you dabble, your mind is all over the place.

youre too smart to just join a union and be a durrrr but you cant hack business because it requires mental discipline.

well, you join the greens.
they are all about feeling the emotions whilst not actually having the responsibility for implementing a plan and seeing it thru.

you can get all upset about whales or refugees or the barrier reef without every actually doing anything constructive AT ALL except sitting around a coffee shop in an inner city venue and vibing with like minded "nodding heads" about how "sad it makes you feel"

a party of "feelings" .

vieb with that if you want but it wont take you to an awesome life.

you'll just end up with an unfocused mind and a passive aggressive personality disorder

burnside will vibe very well with many voters.

a lot of people nowadays are what lennin called "useful idiots".

they are well educated, they may even have a degree, and they work some lame lame job and they feel this deep resentment that their dreams arent coming true.

i call this "low vibration energy".

they like to go "tsk tsk" to the happy successful people, becuase they want it too!!
they have a fat girlfriend or a pussy of a husband and they arent fulfilled and they are in this haze of negativity.

the greens party is mecca to these people and there are a lot of them

yeah, true that cods.

last time Vic was on fire the emergency services commisioner on 1/2 a million a year was out to dinner in melbourne whilst several hundred people burned to death.

and then she and the labor government had the gall to try to confiscate all the rural fire brigade equipment and hand it over to the chodes who are unionised "public servant firefighters" who only care about penalty rates and couldnt care a toss about rural fires .

take equipment paid for by volunteers and give it to their union mates .

thats the level of the durrr state in the labor party Wink

if you are a failure, you cant vote liberal because seeing successful business people makes you feel sick.
so you are right, many people would find the liberal tradition sickening.

if you are an intellectual , you cant vibe with the cfmeu and the guys who like rugby league and a beer and going fishing. so the labor party make you "sick' as well.

you like to sit in your house and watch Q and A or the insiders and you vibe with people like burnside and bandt and hansen young who are all "smarty pants" and "morally superior".
it makes you feel good. you get to feel the emotions you are addicted to without having to start a business or go drink beer with a labor party footy fan . Cheesy
