sorry about that link.....will find it again..the headline on that link was

ONE WOMEN PER WEEK IS MURDERED

because of DV..

it doesnt say how many MEN ARE MURDERED..

I am sure there are women in jail for killing their menfolk...

.BUT grap a few I have read about were DRIVEN TO KILLING by sheer violence of their usually drunken violent husbands...

read this grap... it isnt the normal DV....

but it is cyberspace VIOLENCE.....its using a means of communication  to attack another and make their lives miserable or even finish their career...

[urlhttps://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/newslocal/stgeorge-shire-standard/zane-alchin-guilty-of-revenge-porn-after-emailing-exgirlfriends-nude-pictures/news-story/795b2be08ae409ebcf764991eaaf5fe3][/url]

A Sydney man has been sentenced to jail after he emailed his ex-girlfriend a picture of his bloodied genitalia and sent naked photos of her to his other ex-girlfriend.

Zane Alchin, 28, was at the centre of a tumultuous love triangle between former friends when he sent graphic images of his ex-girlfriend HL’s genitalia to his other ex-girlfriend RM via Instagram on December 29 last year.

At the time Alchin was serving an intensive corrections order for slashing up RM’s lingerie worth more than $2000, smashing her phone and snapping her iPad in half in a jealous rage when they briefly reunited in May 2018 after he and HL broke up in February 2018.

He was also forbidden to contact HL after he was convicted of damaging her car when their relationship ended.

On December 29 HL received an Instagram direct message from RM saying ‘I thought you had the right to know Zane’s been sending me photos of you’,” police facts stated.

“I’m not trying to start anything, it just pisses me off and you have the right to know.”

RM sent HL screenshots of Alchin’s messages which included a picture of HL’s face with her arm covering her breasts, and another one depicting her vagina and buttocks.

Alchin at court in 2015.
Alchin, who has been on remand since January, pleaded guilty to contravening the apprehended violence order protecting HL and distributing an intimate image without consent.

Sutherland Local Court Magistrate Philip Stewart sentenced Alchin to seven months’ imprisonment on both charges.

The Caringbah man will be eligible for parole on April 30.

Alchin and HL had spent time together in the weeks before their relationship deteriorated again but HL had cut off contact when Alchin sent her dozens of emails between November 11 and December 29.

“On November 15 the victim received 15 emails between 7am and 9.30pm,” police facts stated.

“One of the emails said ‘Do you want sit on my dick tonight?’

“The victim replied, ‘bugger off’.

ITS QUICK ITS INSTANT   ITS UNFORGIVABLE..

you are the one that turns every DV subject into a HIM v HER...

the word DOMESTIC  is generic...its another word for relationship....

anyone who lays a hand on someone else   should be held accountable...

as far as I know no female here has ever denied  women can also be dangerous...

what would you prefer VIOLENCE to be referred to  as!then grap....

shouting screaming is also violent...punching holes in walls...is violent... threatening someones life  is violent..making someone sick with fear is violent.

thats a fact...

Ye Grappler.....why is it that every time a Topic about domestic violence..this one including cyberspace.....you always ambush it with your personal gripe/agenda which might very well be soundly based.

You will drive people off the subject with your obsession.

Mothra made the damn discussion non gender, but you did not see that because of personal blinkers.

Fact is...people get harassed on the www.....including intra spouse.  Isn't that the Topic?

Every time. Without fail.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, Grap makes it impossible to have discussion on family violence on this forum. Impossible.

While it's true that family violence affects men also, the stakes tend to be much higher for women.

The reasons for this are firstly because of men's tendency to greater physical strength  ... another reason is the same as why while suicide attempts are more common among women than men, success rates are lower. This is because men tend to use more instantly fatal measures.

More 'violent' .... if i can get away with saying that.

We need to discuss the variables, Aussie. There are gender based variables that contribute heavily to family violence.

The point is to discuss them objectively. If that is at all possible.

Yes, but cyber stalking/violence has zero to do with gender.  Anyone cheap piece of schit can do it...no physical strength required.  In the www World, both gender are equally armed.

I'm afraid you have it backwards, Aussie - the entire issue has been ambushed for over 25 years now and forced onto a field totally controlled by those who favour the women's side.

How is that 'my' personal issue?  It is an issue that covers every citizen.....

Let us recoup:-

1. these 'laws were set up with zero consultation with men.
2.  at no time have men held equal seating at any ongoing or further discussion of these issues and these 'laws'.
3. women and their running dogs are permitted to complain and protest every day - men are abused and insulted when they do so.
4. from the outset, women were handed free legal assistance to cater to ANY whim - men had to pay to defend in a biased and stacked 'court' that did not abide by Law.
5.  No evidence contrary to the woman concerned was entertained - she could have a lengthy history of psychiatric illness and it would still not be permitted in evidence.
6. self-interest groups - primarily 'feminists' - actively worked to extend and extend the 'definition' of 'violence against women' so that it has now come to mean anything that may upset any woman.  Again no evidence to the contrary is permitted.
7. now we have a move afoot - and a move only it is - to 'include' assaulted men - but only on the same playing field as already owned by women.
8.  this does not ever in any way discuss the very real violence, abuse, and rape of civil and legal rights suffered by far too many men over those 25+ years
9. the effect of this selfish feminist insanity is most seen on children - men's children
10. the direct approach of using violence as the first port of call in attending any 'domestic violence' issue - without any attempt to collect facts and behave fairly and reasonably - is THE main cause of violence in such matters.
11. the secondary abuse and violence of the illegal imposition by a 'court' of one-sided and fact-free restraints on ONE side, regardless of facts and guilt, flies in the face of human nature and its craving for fair play, and is itself the greatest cause of violence while being violence in itself.
12. many women 'running from domestic violence' are in fact running from their own guilt over what they've done and are feeling rightfully fearful of retaliation for having violated and had violated someone else.  It is also convenient to claim 'violence' in seeking somewhere to stay and get something for nothing in separation proceedings - where the same or even greater bias prevails.
13. I've said time and again that no resolution to 'apprehension of even continued contact' by using the institutionalised violence of police and  courts will ever resolve violence - for the simple reason that it IS violence.
`14. holding out an olive branch of saying that genuinely abused men should now be treated equally does not resolve the institutionalised violence against men first and foremost, and in no way removes or resolves the reality that the current approach is itself violence and is the cause of escalating violence on all sides.

“Let her [Truth] and Falsehood grapple; who ever knew Truth put to the worse in a free and open encounter? Her confuting is the best and surest suppressing.”

― John Milton, Areopagitica

"Power always thinks it has a great soul and vast views beyond the comprehension of the weak, and that it is doing God's service when it is violating all His laws."

John Adams.

Who in his right mind would hand a retard or a mad feminist a loaded gun?

“The use of force is a last resort. One aspect of violence is that it is unpredictable. Although your initial intention may be to use limited force, once you have engaged in violence the consequences are unpredictable. Violence always brings about unexpected results and almost always provokes retaliation.”
- Dalai Lama

Using force and violence to resolve apprehension of force and violence will never work, it will instead escalate violence and force.

Yes but the outcomes of stalking are not necessarily equal.

Moreover, i was addressing a specific point that Cods made that was adjunct to this discussion.

Most of the www crap wouldn't even exist if these matters were handled like adults and not to satsify some childish 'feeling' of a woman.

Countless men also cop that.. as Mothra says - but the facts is that the entire background of violence has been laid down using the women's side, and then men are oh so kindly placed on the same table - but ONLY if they are violently and viciously abused and injured.

This overlooks that the table is itself flawed and is actively promotes the now-established one-way violence.

Get back to me when men get equal seating at the next conference on how to handle family violence.... until then you've got nothing but a flimsy offer of a ceasefire in place - meaning that men will still have to abide by women's and feminist's rules to even be heard.

It's not gender neutral and never has been.

Let's try this:-

If you read and saw a Darkest African nation with two tribes in it, and one tribe was handed by the government the 'right' to have legal proceedings instituted against the other tribe for any reason, and the government's police then expanded that into a 'right' to directly attack the tribe members accused, and the courts of that nation took action against any accused from that tribe regardless of any and all facts......

Would not you be marching in the streets and protesting about civil rights abuse?

Would not the United Nations be condemning such actions?

Would not the International Court(s) outlaw such violent discrimination and label it a crime against humanity?

Why then do you permit, condone and encourage this exact thing occurring here between the Men Tribe and the Women Tribe?  And then consider that so kindly permitting a few token men who can show genuine scars etc to have a say on a closed playing field is actually addressing the issues?

Round table conference - equal footing and all interest groups represented - for once in over 25 years....

Cyberspace Domestic Violence

Can't discuss the issues without clearing the problems with the way discussion is permitted..... with one side making all the rules and the other being treated as tokens, if even permitted to speak.

It's all part of FAMILY violence.... treat it as such and deal with it as such on facts, for once.  Start by not using the term 'domestic violence' - it has become far too discredited for any intelligent person to use...

Try 'relationship violence' - approach it from all sides based on fact.

And then clearly define violence - not just:- "Oh, I might feel that he's interested in me and he might ring me.. so can you get the court to slap him with the violence of an unwarranted dictate to not do something he may never do anyway and tell him if he rings to demand an explanation he'll be arrested and criminalised?"  or... "He wouldn't give me the credit card when I wanted to go out, since he reckoned we couldn't afford it."  FFS....

Try working with VIOLENCE and then we can begin to talk.  Until then the demand must remain - remove your troops and make restitution ... no ceasefire in place that permits you to hold on to all the territory you've grabbed by violence.

Back to square one - and we'll start again on a level playing field.
