This forum(ozpolitic.com) is private property, it is not a democracy and there are no courts. I'm not trying to be argumentative, it's just a fact. Sometimes even Aussie fails to appreciate that. MRBs belong to the mod of the MRB, they make the rules beyond the forum wide rules. I'm not saying I agree with that, I'd probably do things differently if this forum was my property but it's not, nevertheless that is how things stand and I see no change coming.

Yet there are rules.

And these rules are arbitrarily enforced; not enforced at all; or enforced solely at the whim of either absent or questionable GMods.

The owner of the site has clearly given up.

So "the rules' change and'or only apply to certain posters or at certain times. There are rules on overt racism which have been clearly forgotten yet you can be banned for not quoting someone correctly, although Freediver does it all the time.

And i know you think we should jest be okay with that but perhaps members seeing violations of the rules have questions

You just taunt them in packs though

In my time here, i've wathed this forum slowly degenerate.

For example, Jasin wouldn't have lasted a week a few years ago . and yet he is cited by Bobby now as being a "good poster".

This is the guy who said he wanted to punch me in face and shove his hand down my pants.

Just imagine if Aussie had said that. We'd have threads on it. All of them joining in and throwing projectiles. But for me? From one of them?

And had John or Greg said it? They'd be banned.

But it's all about 'sides' now.. not about the quality of exchange.

And the forum disintegrates.
