Being 'civilised' meant living in areas that had big buildings in it and Farming. The first 'Civilised' area was the Euphrates Rivers area - Sumeria, Babylonia, Persia, Levant, Iraq/Iran/etc.

But it seems that Agri-Forestry was the far superior of the two.
Only people in 'arid' lands of little food took up 'Farming' of crops. People who were able to attain their foods in plenty by their own 'environment' really did 'reap' the reward. Peoples would no more than 'replant' seeds of fruit or vegetables just 'wildly' around and know that where-ever they went, they were surrounded by 'Food'.

So when it comes to food - 'wild' is better than 'farmed' (especially with seafood).
