Morrison is trying to make people believe that the legislation will apply to all future asylum seekers.

Is he?

By default, yes he is.  He is not out there making it plain that it only applies to those still on Nauru/Manus.  Instead, he is talking up the scaremonger about hordes of tinted Aussie culture economy life threateners coming in armadas...simply because measures have been put in place to better ensure that people in our care get whatever medical attention they need.

Far cough, Morrison.

If the people are in need surely a closer Singapore would better.

I've already explained it.

Border Patrol vessels will be instructed to lure/guide a boat into Australian waters.

Yeah - there was Ahmed, fishin' away peacefully in Indonesian waters, minding his own business, insha'allah, when  the Australians started gesticulating to him from the the Australian territorial waters.

'Come, Ahmed, come', they were luring/guiding him. 'We have 9 year olds eager to marry you, Ahmed'.

And so Ahmed was lured/guided.  So cruel, so cunning, playing on their weakness like that.

Ya see, Lee...there is where you lose credibility by tossing in those sort of red and irrelevant herrings.....I suspect to be deliberately argumentative.

Singapore is not responsible for the care of these people.

And nowhere did I suggest they were. But if the imperative is medical care then Singapore would be a closer option.

Of course if the imperative is something else, like politics, then Australia is the better option. Wink

On what basis (that is rhetoric...I don't want your answer) can Australia ask some other Country to look after people in Australia's care?

You'll get one anyway.

On humanitarian grounds as they are closer. And probably on a fee for service arrangement.

BTW - is the Labor, Green's default position a nudge, nudge , wink, wink to the people smugglers?

The leftist socialists will never  be satisfied until we are the minority in the country we built. I hate them with every fibre of my body. History will judge them.

Considering that the country we live in was created by those "Leftist Socialists", Hammer, I don't see what problem you have with them, the people, repossessing what they once owned...   Roll Eyes

Is there a specific place in Australia petal. It is a big place. Of course all the nice people want to go to Sydney. Nightlife, specialists, doctors, clubs, parties.

And as I said on humanitarian grounds.

Then of course under current arrangements they get PNG, Taiwan or Nauru.

The abos lost . Too bad. It's ours now. I don't care what happened 200 years ago and I feel guilty about nothing. If people like you keep filling up our country with everybody and anybody eventually we'll start fighting one another and Australia will become just another mess.
