What astonishes me, is that among a relatively literate population, hardly any understand the weather. Doesn't matter about global warming or sea levels, most people would not know an occluded front from the dew point, and they don't care, even though they are walking around it every day. All they want to know is whether or not it's going to rain. But they expect the BOM to have a crystal ball, and advise them if something is going to happen, when they should figure it out for themselves. Its not rocket science.

No political allegiance. No philosophy. No religion.

Wow. How to take a quote and turn it into something not even mentioned in that quote.

truly bizarre. At least you could have said something along the lines of "global warming causes cooling", or "global warming means there will be more snow." Wink

If there is a -20 C snow blizzard somewhere, in 2019, its just 'weather'.

But if there is a series of very hot days [a heat-wave], it is another indication of Man-made Global Warming.

ACKNOWLEDGING;

The earth may be in a warming phase, atm.

But hasn't the earth gone through naturally induced heating and cooling phases, in ages past ?

'Apparently' changes in the 'moods' our local star [our sun] can have a drastic influence upon the earths climate.

Q.
Is anyone going to suggest, that mankind has also been 'tweek-ing' [having an influence upon] how the sun is behaving ?
