The Liberals have their backers from the big end of town
If you weren't so lazy, you'd find that Labor also has backing from the big end of town
One example: the ANZ bank donates as much money to the Labor Party as it does to the Liberal Party
And Union donations to Labor are miniscule compared to big business donations to Labor
Unions:Australian Labor Party (ALP) Shop, Distributive & Allied Employees' Association - National $657,395
Australian Labor Party (ALP) United Voice $520,000
Australian Labor Party (ALP) Community and Public Sector Union (PSU Group) $394,768
Australian Labor Party (N.S.W. Branch) Health Services Union NSW $318,713
Australian Labor Party (ALP) Automotive Food Metals Engineering Printing & Kindred Ind. Union $300,000
Australian Labor Party (State of Queensland) United Voice $229,028
Australian Labor Party (Western Australian Branch) The Shop, Distributive & Allied Employees' Association of Wester $191,331
Australian Labor Party (Victorian Branch) Electrical Trades Union of Australia - Victorian Branch $135,000
Australian Labor Party (State of Queensland) The Australian Workers' Union of Employees Queensland $131,140
Australian Labor Party (N.S.W. Branch) Shop, Distributive & Allied Employees' Association - National $111,000
etc.
Big Business:Australian Labor Party (ALP) ANZ Banking Group Limited $100,000
Australian Labor Party (N.S.W. Branch) Hong Kong Kingson Investment Co., Ltd. $100,000
