I brought all the Yahooligans here from Yahoo politics
when that closed down.
I did a lot of research first & picked this forum as the most similar and active to Yahoo.
Unfortunately posters like John Smith came here too from Yahoo.
He has a lot of history but we won't go into it.

Yes - I heard that most people left Yahoo Politics because of John Smith himself.
John Smith relates to people here on OzPolitic like one of those streety-bums with glad bags as shoes on a train platform packed with well dressed employed people.

He's improved a lot since the Yahoo days.
