Soviet 1980? Would it be Japan 1977? afterward, Japan nowadays? Who can do somethings good for the whole world? What can we do?

very strategic thinkers are the chinese.
they have punched a huge road thru pakistan so they have access to the indian ocean and they will be pakistans big brother against india.
they control tibet and will divert water from the glacial melt into china and let india suffer drought
they will continue to militarise the islands of the south china sea
they will do huge infrastructure projects in africa.

most worryingly of all, the chinese are very interested in the intelligence of their children and they will use CRISPA technology to engineer children with higher IQ's (the west wont do this because the west loves the disabled more then the successful). but the chinese love success.

2 generations of chinese with IQ's now 20 to 30 points higher then the west and it will be game over.

If there is one thing China is not going to do, it is to commit suicide. Which is what the Japanese and Germans demanded of their people in WW2. Both were personality cults.

Their relations with Pakistan are tentative, being with the secular government. If the Islamos seize power, all bets are off.

They are setting themselves up to invade the island of Formosa and make it part of Communist China. The timing will depend on US commitment and public support for Taiwan.

china is a command economy which lets it take a long term strategy
it is a concern that the current prime minister has made himself ruler for life.

in the next 2 decades as china urbanises about 300 million people, it will build about 200 cities about the size of brisbane.

people forget how populous the place is.

the other thing is the work ethic.

whiteknight and his union mates are a joke to me but they are a laughing stock to the chinese.

the idea that an aussie works hard is just laughable to a chinese worker.

i have been to china.

i was talking to a guy who set up a business there and he employed crane drivers who got a bit more then the other workers.

the crane drivers would live in their cranes, they were not giving up the better paid work,

the wife would come and send up food and the guy would send down a bucketful of excrement and he would sleep in his crane.

you have no idea how ambitious and how ruthless the chinaman is and also how materialistic he is.

he finds our system an absolute joke.

he would find our pampered and coddled citizens only fit to be tossed aside as a piece of worthless garbage.

i am pretth harsh on my fellow citizens as being whinging cry babies but i am mother teresa compared to your average chinese businessman

The Americans and Soviet/Russians wanted the 'Yellows' (and Browns) to go 'South' - so that the USSR V USA 'FAKE WAR' could make the entire Northern Hemisphere 'all white' (Yin/Yang). They didn't want to share the 'north' with Brown and Yellow people.

Soon, China will invade a rusted and 'gang' run Russia in capitalist chaos. President (Ras)Putin will vanish. China will take Siberia and have access to the full north for the Yellow people, with the 'Stanis' giving the Browns access to the North.

Yes, its hard see Communism in China today. Its the totalitarian aspect of Communism which the party is not about to give up. Taiwan has always been a thorn in their side, because that is where the Nationalists retreated. Taiwan is like a fortress on their border. Strategically, it will be easy to take, because Chinese lines of communication and supply are relatively short. The only way to prevent that, is for the US to move onto the island, lock, stock, and barrel, because their navy is becoming increasingly vulnerable.

But there are many factors beyond that.
Such as how to improve whole lot but not only selective.
A society can not to be a leader if that have no global valuation.

Invade Taiwan could be rise them to fail and loss nowadays, if that could not win or last that wining.
Any fault will cause the collapse of dictatorship.
Pakistan is not a alliance of China. They just can not deny someone give them money.

Money may short if you think it is powerful.
