You are right.
But everything is made to suit the American way (just like our Economics is heading. God help us all!) - especially when Schools now are 'dependent' on the Computer spellcheck.

When was the last time 'Australian' newspapers said "Gaol" rather than their usual "Jail" as if we were in America?

When I went to school 'dependent' was a verb and 'dependant' was a noun...

Well I seem to think that Australian computers are designed with the American 'spellcheck' and grammar style.

Americans are crap at Maths. All their scientists invent things to destroy the planet with their maths. Their Economy is crap and 4th world as if their Accountant was really just a Labourer in love with the size of his knob banging other men's wives.

But one thing for sure though - they are far better than Australians with 'Punctuation' and Grammar.
Spelling is sliding away from them as the 'African' Americans have hijacked their language via the Media (which they own).

Yeah, most are American by default. You have to manually change it.

The modern Australian is indeed dumb.

It's why Australians love to dig rocks out of the ground. They want to exercise their superiority over individual rocks even though most closet poms are not smarter than a box of rocks.

Please don't thank me. Effusive fawning and obeisance of disciples, mendicants, and foot-kissers embarrass me.
