to a retreat next year for the silly season.....I am thinking 4 days of  no one talking would be wonderful..

any one done that???..

.it has to be stress free...cool...  refreshing drinks...no music only maybe water trickling very very quietly  , maybe a slave or two with the drink tray or icy poles...no  computers or tv or phones...

bliss.

Well, that was unnecessary. Roll Eyes

Its just hangover talk, a hair of the dog may be needed.

so he has a drinking problem too? ..... and he calls others drunk Roll Eyes

My problem is not his drinking, it's his hypocrisy

Enjoy.

I am thinking of extending the pond and putting in a water feature with running water and a slight waterfall to get that sound, having to get my own drinks is a negative but it does play all year.

I can not afford much of this but got some affordable ideas and already got the pond part.

4 days is not enough, dear. You must do at least 10. Jesus did 40!

But do it. This is the only thing in your life worth doing - silence.

But you'll see your mind is never quiet.

Get a float tank and you can escape the world whenever you want to.

The more I grew up
the badder I become.
I know this,
because Santa didn't bring me presents much anymore.

Oh? And who cums down your chimney?

I don't think I will be doing chimneys.
1. There are none anymore unless you live in some archaic suburb that is nothing more than a 40 year old Jaguar being bought to gather dust in a shed.
2. I don't like tight spots - tends to make one stuck for life.
3. Fire
4. Did you ever watch Sooty & Sweep?  Cheesy
5. You have 3 months to live

I was raised by a Filipino nanny who would punch me in the guts if I ever mentioned Santa so I was conditioned from a very early age to avoid old bearded men who want to give you a little bribe and lure you into a dark corner of the house.

The day of the dead was a bit of a thing in my house and I'd wear a mask and evil nanny Camile would be nice to me for a day and buy me a Toblerone.
