What you learn on retreats is how to accept what comes your way. No craving, no aversion, no judgement. Just see things as they are.

You don't learn all this in a few days, of course, you learn a few tricks and apply it to your life. They teach you that everyone is your friend, including yourself. Our obstacles are largely within.

The more you apply the teachings, the more you understand this. Accept what comes with both hands.

I'll put up some retreat info in another thread.
