Rupturing the Crust
Dec 25th, 2018 at 4:03am

I wonder if the Nukes of today and a few impacting in the same spot - could actually rupture the Crust?

With the Crust ruptured in such a way - would it produce such a massive lava flow eruption, that it could cover a large continent easy and destroy the atmosphere with its gases?

Why would you "wonder" that?

And why would you go down that sort of apocalyptic  thought path?

Nukes on the bottom of the ocean where the Crust is thin.

Oh thank god you wrote that.
For the past 24 hours I've been wondering about you?
Were you ASIO out to play mind games? A sock of 'me' - that somehow escaped my memory of when I actually activated it? Now - out for revenge, upon it's Master?
Your posts seem to match mine in all four methods of 'thought'. It would be like meeting a Clone or long lost identical Twin. I was afraid to sleep. I've been awake non-stop - afraid that I would find you there also, in my dreams.
Right now though, I'm playing some songs from the Band You Am I.

...but now, with your above said Post. I can rest in peace knowing that you are none of what I posted above. You see - you're a moron and that definately ain't me!  Wink

How does my wishing your thread title was about meat pie crusts make me a moron?

It in no way is an indication I didn't like what your post was actually about and nor does it reveal my feelings about pie crusts.

Reminds me of this movie which I have on BluRay:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crack_in_the_World

First saw this on the big screen when I was a kid around 1966 or 67. Scared the living daylights out of me at the time even though it is scientifically impossible, especially the ending.

It was a good example that you had no indication as to what to think? So why write something in the first place - if you don't know what to think?

Oh wow Carl. D - that looks like a good old movie to watch.
Yes - reading the movie's background on wiki. I can see that even back then in the 60's - they feared the worse.
And yet, its so easy to achieve.

Nuclear explosion on one side of planet, causes a 'ripple' effect through and around the planet to an earthquake on the other side.

Looks like you can watch the whole movie here:

https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1zwzru

Not super high quality but watchable. I also notice it is in 1.33:1 (4:3) pan and scan not the 1.85:1 widescreen as it is on the BluRay but never mind...

I don't think the movie is available on DVD or BluRay here in Australia, I had to get the BluRay from Amazon in the US a year or two back.

The music score by John Douglas is great.

Fair point but do you agree rupturing a pie crust is incredibly satisfying?

You are spot on. Never bury your head in the sand or you'll miss the change.

So many bury their heads in the sand. Not wanting to see what will happen to FRANCE, soon at the hands of Islam.
Or the war between China & Russia soon.
...they all bury their heads in the past and think it will be just like before.
