The 117m Opal Tower is home to 392 apartments and is situated where Sydney Olympic Park meets Bicentennial Park. Construction stated in 2014 and finished earlier this year.
Australia Avenue is closed in both directions at Bennelong Parkway and traffic is being diverted into Sarah Durack Ave while trains have been cancelled between Lidcombe and Olympic Park.
