Your prediction could be fairly close to the mark. The first time the Liberal party contested a Federal election in 1946, Labor won it with a 2PP result of around 54-46. This is Labor's highest federal 2PP result against the Liberal party. The last Newspoll was 55-45 so it's possible.
Labor recorded higher 2PP figures in their 1943 annihilation of the UAP-Country coalition (58-42).
When Morrison first took over I kinda assumed that the only way for the government was up, and that he would inevitably restore some semblance of stability.
And yet, Morrisson and his trainwreck of a party just continue to exceed expectations in incompetence. To be honest I've given up trying to predict how low they'll go. There really doesn't seem to be any limit for these clowns.
hes only been there since Aug....will it be ok for righties to ,expect HEAP from shortarse in two months...
we wont forget your expectations gandy or our lefty chums on here.....sadly for us righties most of us never supported turncoat .. he didnt wait for their verdict on his admin.....far too cunning for that wasnt he..
however you guys have all supported shortarse from day one......so I for one will be watching real close..... he is a union boy through and through...
some of us see Corporates and the UNions all of the same breed.....cunning greedy and crafty...
most in it for themselves...... neither of whom we elect.....

you might think your side is perfect and competent...but you do know its almost entirely made up of the last squad you had in...
