The Principals of AMP should be charged with Criminal Fraud and they should do at least 10 years in gaol

They have overseen theft of their clients' super funds for so long that is has just become common practice for them

APRA should request Police lay Criminal Charges against the Executives

No longer can our society stand by whilst rich bastard Executives feather their own nest at the expense of the average hard working citizen

Now is the time to rise up against this disgusting corporate society who feel 'ENTITLED'

Time to throw them in the dock, then throw away the key

I think this is all building to something huge cods

I think decent people have had e..bloody..nough

And if Labor is wise when they get into Government..and they will

They need to pursue these criminals with all the might they can muster

I do think that this is 'The End Game' for the Corporate thieves

It would be a foolish Government indeed that doesn't gauge the sense of outrage out there

seriously if that was possible we would not have a drug problem..

Corporate crooks face stiffer penalties and more jail time under new laws being introduced to federal parliament this week.

[b]Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said the proposed legislation will, in some cases, double the penalties for criminal misconduct in the corporate and financial sectors, and increase civil penalties as much as tenfold for corporations and more than fivefold for individuals.

Individuals now face up to 10 years' jail for criminal misconduct and a fine of up to $945,000. Corporations face civil penalties of up to $210 million.

"These significantly strengthened sanctions overhaul Australia’s penalties for white-collar crime, include increases to penalties that haven’t changed in more than twenty years, bring our penalties closer to those in other leading international jurisdictions and, most importantly, provide greater protection for consumers against financial and corporate sector misconduct," Mr Frydenberg said.

Mr Frydenberg also spoke of the new court powers to "strip wrongdoers of profits illegally obtained or losses avoided from contraventions resulting in a civil penalty proceeding".

The maximum penalty for corporations should be unlimited. For a corporation of sufficient size, capped penalties are not a deterrent.

The major banks make profits in the billions. For them, a $210 million maximum penalty is just a cost of doing business.

Too many favours are owed by the Libs to the Big End of town
