I doubt India will need to bat again.  It looks like a follow on to me, and a likely loss.

How things have changed -
it looks like a batting collapse and yes a follow on.

Follow on not enforced as I would have done.  Maybe his bowlers are tired.  We are about 300 behind.......Virat will take that to as much as it get to...and declare out of there at Lunch tomorrow...giving him a day and a half to bowl us out, and on today's form, that ain't gonna be hard.

India 8 for 106 declared on their 2nd innings.

The Aussies need 398 runs to win with a day and a half to go.
No chance - Australia has lost.

India lost their collective minds yesterday when they lost 5/45

Pat Cummins went on today to take a  great bowling to take a 6 for.... but with a target of 399 and Aaron Finch throwing his wicket for 3 we are farqued and far from home right now

Only a miracle can save Australia now.
The best Oz can do now is draw the series in the last test.

I am a cricket tragic,,,,, yet this wicket has been devastatingly bad for cricket.

Why not just do the toss, who ever wins the toss wins the test and then we can have some one day cricket and a couple of 20/20 games instead.

Choosing to bat should involve some calculated risk on the wicket having some life early and the chance of losing some wickets.

These dead wickets just hand the game to the toss winner.

It ruins cricket

isnt it time they had a different  place to play Test Cricket.....everyone is complaining about it...

cricket  doesnt  get the crowds the size of AFL ..

.watching cricket from up in the stands you would need binoculars .....no wonder the crowd misbehaves....

I cant bare to watch the aussies fold...

Yes - I needed binoculars when I went to the MCG to watch the cricket
otherwise the players were just dots on the field.

Well done, Cummings.  If Clem Jones was still alive and at Melbourne, that wicket would be flooded at about 4.00 am, rendered unplayable for lots of hours....and let's hope that Melbourne pisses down...all day tomorrow.
