You don't remember Bob Hawke - Australia's longest serving Labor PM?

He was the President of the ACTU.

The Labor Party was created by the unions, for the unions, and is largely controlled by the unions.

There's nothing unusual about an ex-union man becoming leader of the Labor Party.

Yep it is a fact that the Liberals Doubled Labors debt in less than half the time ?

It is also true that this Liberal government have not produced one single budget with a deficit as low as Labor's worst. Each and every Liberal budget has put Australia further in debt than any of Labor's budgets from their last term - all of them - each and every one.

She was very good but made some serious mistakes. Was frightened of big business after they had destroyed Rudd and was too willing to negotiate too much away in fairwork.

Fairwork ended up useless and thoroughly nobbled because of this. Fairwork has ended up being a tool that helps the employer screw workers.
