I dont know, there is alot of similarites.
1. Hostility to other religion, culture and belief.
2. Hostility to people with different sexuality.
3. Anti abortion, anti choice.
4. Equating woman's rights as a feminist belief.
5. Climate science - denial.
6. Overwhelming fear against any change.
7. Self indulged patriotism to disguise nationalism and fascism
Face it. Its people like Sarah Hanson Young in the Islam version, that would wear dresses to show off her legs and get arrested. And its people like Pauline Hanson equivalent who would be the Mullahs who flogs people for wearing 'offensive' clothing.
I'm not anti religion ... I'm anti Islamic fundamentalism/radical ideology hidden in the guise of religion.
I'm not anti abortion or choice.
Feminism & womens rights have been hijacked by radicals.
And to even mention that idiot Sarah Hanson as a shining light for womens issues does nothing for you or your opinion.
Your comparison of her & Pauline Hanson as an example against the OP of this thread is utterly ridiculous ..... have you ever seen some of the outfits Pauline has worn over the years?
She wears them way better that SHY would ever be capable of...
Then its not just the right wing conservatism. For years, decades, the left wing had been at the forefront of righting for woman and children's rights against oppressive regimes and religions around the world.
Here in Australia, because of ongoing war overseas. Some right wing conservative equates and accuses every man woman and child of Islamic faith to be evil. Which is not true. The left wing believe that each and every person should be judged on their own merits, in order to up on their own individual liberty. However, the right wing conservatism mistook that for pandering to the Islamic fundamentalism.
