Do your own research!!!

Yes. We know that is something of which you are incapable.

You are the one posting it, presumably as true.

You do understand once the draft legislation has been ratified it is then presented to Parliament as a Bill? It is then incumbent upon the Opposition to read, comprehend, get expert advice etc before the reading. Once the legislation is in its final form it is generally given to all members. Otherwise the Opposition could cry foul.

Typical uninformed Greeny type sheeple.

A Tesla Lithium battery is a FIRE BOMB that can explode into a fiery inferno.

The home insurance rockets to cover the huge risk.

And the tiny batteries talked about would last about an hour with a typical night load.

The IGNORANCE in the community is frightening!!!

Paid for by  the taxpayers of Australia. Wink

Where are those important things that need fixing you complain about? Shouldn't they come first?

If its true (which i doubt) they can just turn off the stupid smart meters that should fix it.

Why would you doubt it?

Because generators are designed to run up and down over a large demand curve?

Well if thats true why dont they design them properly to take into account modern practices? It says in the article its their newest one. But I doubt it because we always get these weird not very believable stories just before the govt brings in something really nasty.

The taxpayers will be paying for this.

Those without solar and batteries will subsidise those who get them.

Landlords are unlikely to buy them they cannot claim them on tax they're considered a capital gain.

What price? Special steels etc don't come cheap. State governments are the kings of "cheap".

The full quote....

Quote:
The Australian Energy Council (AEC) has given Treasury a blast for a truncated consultation process for legislation giving effect to controversial price regulation measures and new divestiture powers which power companies say could be constitutionally invalid.

The AEC is unhappy about at an “unusual” government request that draft legislation be kept confidential, and contends that “further indicates a desire to avoid scrutiny on an important legislative change”

Why wouldn't it be true....Are you saying the Australian Energy Council is lying and if so were is your proof???

Huh Huh Huh

Not at all. You do understand the difference between perceptions and realities?

You have heard of Appeal to Authority?

Can you show where it is "unusual" for a draft  of legislation not to be widely promulgated? Even if it were "unusual" would it be "unprecedented"?

philperth2010 wrote on Nov 23rd, 2018 at 10:03am:
Avoiding scrutiny is becoming a worrying trait of this Government.

All legislation goes before Parliament. All legislation is perused by both the Government and Opposition and debated. How does this avoid such scrutiny? Roll Eyes
