I ignored it because it was a silly post. Do your own research. All religions are not treated equally. Islam is very much the underdog, just as once the Catholics and the Jews were. We learnt that was a mistake in thier cases. We will eventually learn it is a mistake WRT to Islam.

What are the great universal and humane ideas in Islam that are unfairly overlooked, Bwian?
I don't know any. Do you?

Christianity;
Judaism;
Hinduism;
Buddhism;
Shintoism;
Taoism;
Animism;
Paganism;

All religions believe they have knowledge revealed to their believers, Soren. Some are proselytising and want everybody to join in with them. Some don't. Who are you to determine what is right or what is wrong? Mmmm? Roll Eyes

Ah - it's LURKING! So any remote suspicion or outright paranoia from - say - a Muslim or a gay or a feminist etc - means that anyone who opposes any part of that person's ideology is planning to gulag him/her and must be gulaged or sanctioned first to prevent this?

On past experience and observation - wouldn't it be more safe to say that Muslims or gays of feminists etc are more likely to impose direct sanctions on anyone else if they ever get the power to do so? The Middle East/Indonesia etc shows us one; gays show a contempt for others; feminism is a foregone conclusion here in Australia and elsewhere as a directly oppressive and rights reducing movement....

I think those who disagree have got it backwards.
