As for why I defend Muslims - I do not believe anybody deserves to be persecuted simply because of their religious beliefs. All the Muslims I have known - I have served with/studied with/worked with many - have been decent, hard working, honest, law abiding people. I do not doubt there are some Muslims who aren't but I've never encountered one. The Muslims today are treated in exactly the same way Catholics, the Jews, the Irish, the Indigenous Australians, the Indochinese have been in the past. Isn't it time we learnt from our previous mistakes? Roll Eyes

And this in no way compares with ritualised rape of non-Muslims by Muslims stating that they will show them 'how to have sex in the Lebanese way'?

Their children are assaulted and insulted? When and where... and then - where and when any more than other kids, and who started it? I've had more insults hurled at me by Muslims than I would ever give to Muslims.... it's part of their childish way of life to throw insults around and then whine when they get it back...

You need some very serious self-examination, Brian.

"Women wearing a hijab or other Islamic head coverings are overwhelmingly bearing the brunt of public Islam hate attacks — and the overwhelming majority of the attacks are perpetrated by men.

That's straight from muammad the humane way to spread the word of allah.

All religions believe they have knowledge revealed to their believers, Soren. Some are proselytising and want everybody to join in with them. Some don't. Who are you to determine what is right or what is wrong? Mmmm? Roll Eyes

So you can't think of one either, Bwian. Nobody can because there aren't any. There is nothing new and revelatory, redemptive, improving or positive for humanity in Islam. It's a joke sucked up by people without a sense of humour, as Ayatollah Khomeini so famously said.

Islam is thoroughly understood and when it is rejected, it is rejected because of its shortcomings, not because rejecting it is 'hate' or 'Islamophobia'.
