"The OHCA calculations depend entirely on the timely delivery of in situ data from the Argo program, the Global Temperature and Salinity Profile Program (GTSPP), and the three tropical moored buoy array programs (TAO/TRITON in the Pacific, PIRATA in the Atlantic, and RAMA in the Indian) through the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL). All three data streams are gathered in the NCEI archive. "

So we know Argo uses ºC. I'll let you look at the others, but I suspect they also use ºC to keep systems simple.

Both poles losing net ice. Tundra thawing out.
