Permafrost thawing out everywhere IS a pretty good indicator the globe is warming.
Now all you have to show is permafrost thawing out EVERYWHERE.

I guess they don't have permafrost there.

From what I hear it is not melting in Antarctica. A recent paper blamed CO2 for lowering temperatures. You never mention that.

Except of course they don't define "heatwave", merely show average anomalies which is a completely different kettle of fish. Warmer is not a heatwave.
